At the Baahubali 2 press conference on the 30th of September, the major question, “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?” remained unanswered, however, there was lots of exciting updates to share!

Disclosing the major upcoming activities and agenda, were the producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, along with S.S. Rajamouli and the lead actors, Prabhas and Rana.

First up, updates on the shoot of Baahubali – The Conclusion! With a few songs and scenes left, the shooting of the movie is expected to be complete by early December, with the teaser and trailer of the movie out in early 2017, on track for an April 28th, 2017 release!!

With Baahubali expanding into various other entertainment segments like the animated series, comic books, virtual reality, merchandising and a lot more, there’s exciting things coming your way from Team Baahubali!
The month of October promises to be a treat for Baahubali enthusiasts, mark your calendars and stay tuned!

1st October – The teaser of the Animated series, Baahubali – The Lost Legends.

22nd October – The first look of Baahubali – The Conclusion, and a preview of the graphic novel from the series will be released.
23rd October – A special behind the scenes VR video, shot in 360 degree, of the making of Baahubali – The Conclusion.

On Baahubali expanding as a transmedia franchise, S.S. Rajamouli had this to say – “The concept of Baahubali is like a tree, the movie being just one of its branches.” When asked what time frame should be associated with the world of Baahubali, S.S. Rajamouli said, “Forever. I don’t want it to ever stop. It should continue forever, irrespective of who, when, why”!
