Baahubali is making a big splash this year on the International film festival circuits. At the Marché du Film, the business counterpart to the illustrious Cannes Film Festival, the makers of Baahubali, along with Vice President of Radeon Technology Group, AMD, will lead a panel discussion on Virtual Reality, and the opportunities for filmmakers to bring to life an immersive film experience like never before. Following this discussion, will be a market screening of Baahubali – The Beginning. S.S. Rajamouli and Shobu Yarlagadda will also be present at the Cannes Film Festival, 2016.
AMD is currently working in association with India’s largest movie project, to create a first of it’s kind, cutting-edge VR experience based on the blockbuster film – Baahubali. The Director of the Baahubali sequels, S.S. Rajamouli, will also be directing the Baahubali VR Experience scheduled for early 2017.
On the 16th of May, 2016, at 4:00pm, S. S. Rajamouli, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Raja Koduri, Senior Vice President of Radeon Technology Group, AMD, will be presenting a panel discussion at the NEXT Pavilion on Virtual Reality titled “Increasing the intensity and scale of epic film experiences through VR”. The interactive panel, will be streamed live via the official Facebook page of Baahubali, and moderated by Patrick Frater, Asia Bureau Chief, Variety.

Subsequent to the Panel Discussion, part 1 of S.S. Rajamouli’s epic Indian story, Baahubali – The Beginning, will be screened at Palais K, at the Marché Du Film venue in Cannes at 8:30 pm.
