Baahubali At IFFI, Goa

Baahubali At IFFI, Goa

It was a great experience for Team Baahubali at the 47th edition of the International Film Festival of India, Goa.

IFFI, one of the most prestigious film festivals in Asia, aims to nurture, encourage and inspire Indian cinema. The eight day event saw the attendance of many delegates, film makers and film enthusiasts from across the country, and the world.

It was indeed a moment of pride to showcase the first of its kind VR experience “The Sword Of Baahubali” to an audience of film enthusiasts. The idea of setting up the VR booth was to make aware the next-gen filmmakers, the wide possibilities of film making. From directors and film makers, to film students and regional stars, a diverse audience had the Baahubali VR Experience. With around 600 people each day, the teaser of “The Sword of Baahubali” was received with excitement and awe!

Also at the IFFI Indian Panorama section, was the screening of the first installment of the two part epic, Baahubali – The Beginning.

All in all, for us, IFFI was eight spectacular days of celebrating the joy, magic and endless possibilities of film-making!

The last day of IFFI was marked by our director, S.S.Rajamouli, and other eminent personalities who were invited as the Chief Guests for the Closing Ceremony.

“It is a great experience. And it’s not the ending of the film festival. It is just the beginning. You can cherish all the memories & experiences from the film festival and take it along with you.”
– S.S.Rajamouli
